Petrichor

Inspired by the scent of the rain falling on dry soil this piece presents a visual interpretation of this fragrance using the contrast of color, texture and material to condense the feeling of petrichor.
Pertrichor series is composed by 100% ceramic materials. The moving material is a melting ceramic body that melts and moves during the firing process. This piece is part of my artistic exploration trough material to create this unique artwork.
